After many meetings, I was glad to present residents concerns, and even more pleased with the Council’s decision that there should be no cuts in community services in Central Ward. Indeed it has been accepted that an expansion, especially in the Children’s Centre would be the preferable way forward. My argument is that if the Council is going to offer new facilities to support families in the town centre, it should be part of a new Health Hub for the area. Incorporating heath services, a new children’s centre and community support for residents. I congratulate the Council that today they have taken the first important step on the right path but its important to continue and grow the vision for new, modern, up to date residents services in Weston.
